Anonymous asked: i'm seen as a cis guy by people but i haven't ever felt really attached to being "male" and recently i've been feeling like i wanna explore how i present to other ppl but i dont wanna be pushing in on trans stuff (i dunno how to explain it? like i dont wanna appropriate transness or nonbinary-ness when i dont know yet who i am?) and i guess if ur not too burnt out from answering a bunch of other ppl's messages it'd be nice to hear your ideas about that kinda stuff?

Answer:

gothichunny:

"appropriating transness" is impossible. there is only exploring gender. embrace non-male gender. have fun. play around.

Possibly still my favorite self-portrait. I have a tote bag with this photo on it, and a stranger once actually said “I like your bag”. I almost hugged her, and almost gave it to her.

This is Burntcoat Head, a relatively boring feature geologically on the Bay Of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The remarkable aspect of this bluff is that every 6 1/2 hours the tides advance and retreat 53 1/4 feet, the highest tidal surge in the world.
If you ever have a chance to visit Nova Scotia, please visit this remarkable place in Hants County.
(ps it’s 20 min from where I live, so stop on by for a cuppa tea, and let me guide you to this place)
